I moved into the KPSH Firehouse around 1962. Had a little
room there facing the tennis courts. During the day, a few patients hung around
the area. Very few - if any played tennis with the exception of Vito Caponetto.
Vito also had the run of the little athletic shack out in back of the firehouse.
The evenings at the tennis courts Doctors, some of their kids and a few
employees were seen playing - including me during late 1960's and early 70's.
Courts were neglected, not maintained. But a nice private area to enjoy the

I had a friend who worked in building 41 during the 1980's and him and his
girlfriend used to play here before work or on weekends. They were both
attendants who met while working here and then got married.
The Fire House is right next to the courts and building 93 can be seen in the
Stairs to Tennis Courts from the rear Fire House parking lot
